The Gears of War 4 multiplayer beta will kick off next week, but we’re catching a glimpse of the beta in action thanks to a newly-leaked video showing nearly 15 minutes of in-game footage.
The multiplayer beta footage originated from Spanish website ResetMX, which quickly took down the video shortly after it was published. Thankfully, AllGamesDelta was quick enough to upload that video again, this time on Dailymotion, and was also gracious enough to remove the annoying Spanish announcer which could be heard in the original video.
The leaked multiplayer beta video looks exactly what we’d expect from a new Gears of War multiplayer beta. Judging by the footage, it appears both Locust and Coalition are duking it out in Team Deathmatch with the pacing appearing to resemble Gears of War 3. Characters look a bit more fragile than they did in earlier iterations of the series as there appears to be much less armor to go around in Gears of War 4.
