We’re just a few days away from the release of Super Mario Maker on the Wii U, and while we know we’ll be able to use amiibo to turn Mario into 8-bit versions of whatever figure is used, we haven’t seen all of them in action. Today, we’re seeing all of the available amiibo in Super Mario Maker in a YouTube video uploaded by Pogoplay.
The video, which was taken down but uploaded by another YouTube user, shows a level that is completely filled with blocks with mushrooms that will change Mario to various amiibo. The start of the video shows some well-known amiibo being used, like Mario, Luigi, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, and Pac-Man. But as the video progresses, we catch a glimpse of some more obscure characters like a Goomba, Shy Guy, and even a crab from the original Mario Bros.
The video clocks in at around 8 minutes, and if you consider this to be spoiler territory, then feel free to give it a pass. But it’s amazing just how many characters Mario can transform into in Super Mario Maker.
