Heroes of the Storm game director Dustin Browder has announced two new characters will be joining the Nexus, both of which have been inspired by the Diablo universe.
Browder revealed the two new characters in an interview with MetaBomb. The first of the two, named Xul, is a necromancer from Diablo 2 that can summon up four skeletons from the corpses of minions, reduce attack speeds with the power of curses, can poison using AoE attacks and even imprison enemy heroes.
The second hero, Li Ming, is Diablo 3’s wizard that can attack using magic missiles and her Arcane Orb, which increases in damage the farther she is from it. If things get a little too hectic, she can use her power of teleportation to save her from taking any more damage.
Browder didn’t reveal when we’d get an official reveal of either character, but we’re sure they’ll be coming sooner rather than later.
