Things aren't looking good for the Bowmans by the final scene of Colony: Season 1. Katie (Sarah Wayne Callies) has been revealed to be a Resistance conspirator both to her husband and to the Host-led government. Bram (Alex Neustaedter) has been captured trying to sneak through the tunnel out of the LA block. Will (Josh Holloway) is going to save his son Charlie from the Santa Monica block, but we've seen that Charlie (Jacob Buster) is in some trouble of his own with a mysterious man named Solomon.
It's not the happiest way to end a season, but there was some big payoff in "Gateway": Colony finally revealed its aliens. It was just one alien, and it was dead, and we didn't see too much of it, but it was one of the biggest ways Colony has leaned into its sci-fi DNA this season.
