It took a lot of build up, but we finally got to see the Secret Warriors united (assembled?”) here! And it was cool!
…and then it was over.
The idea of the team working well together and then collapsing due to mistrust from the rest of SHIELD (and then from within, a la The Thing) was good in theory, but it just felt so rushed to have it all happen in the very same episode the team truly became a team for the first time. There should have been a handful of episodes to see them functioning together before we got to lines like, “We were good together, yet it took so little to split the team apart.”
