Note: Hunters debuts on Syfy on Monday, April 11th at 10:00pm. Premiere review spoilers will be kept to a minimum.
One thing Syfy's new alien-drama series Hunters nails right from the get-go is it skips over the origin story and gets straight to the action. Most alien invasion stories start with first contact and build the story around that, but not Hunters. Instead, we begin several years into the human/alien conflict and pick up information as we go along. In terms of world-building, that seems like the best way to go for a show like this. As for the actual content, well, that's where things get much more conventional.
