The Path: "A Homecoming" Review

The latest game news from IGN - one of my fave channels ever - check it out

Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.

The third episode of The Path, while enjoyably layering Hugh Dancy's Cal character, felt like the show was slowing down a bit. Not that this series doesn't already come with a languid, meditative pace and tone, but everyone except Cal here seemed to be taking small strides within their own journeys.

At this point, the show has sort of spilled out and over of its original "this is a show about a cult" premise. It's still that show, sure, but now it's really more about each player's arc within that construct. There are no heroes or villains (until we find out what really happened to Alison's husband, I suppose), just characters. Moving along in their own little bubbles.
