Mojang has announced it will be launching a monthly subscription service that delivers Minecraft to your door every month, called Mine Chest.
Mine Chest will offer monthly shipments of Minecraft gear, exclusive items, and DIY crafting recipes for $29.99 per month plus taxes and shipping and handling. Minecraft fans might want to give Mine Chest some serious consideration as Mojang says some of its items won’t be found anywhere else outside of its monthly subscription service.
The first Mine Chest orders will ship out in May with those ordering prior to the end of February receiving the “extremely limited” Mine Chest Beta version. This special chest will include items that are based on the beginnings of Minecraft.
Mine Chest is only available in the US, but Mojang plans on expanding its service globally in the future.
