Okay, so forget that whole bunch of crap I was going on about in my last review about Stick being the Blacksmith. I was waaaaay off. I mean, I wasn't completely confident in my assumption, so at least there's that. I knew it would take a lot of explaining since I couldn't readily connect the dots myself.
The ACTUAL Blacksmith reveal was tremendous. Just really freakin' solid. And, as I previously pondered, it indeed was someone we knew. Briefly though. Clancy Brown's Ray Schoonover. Who we met back during Frank's trial. And Yes, Clancy Brown is a notable name. Someone you instantly recognize on a show. And who could be important. But I just assumed his role, in itself, was cool enough warrant Clancy Brown. Because Ray's testimony came with its own twist. One that worked to frustrate Reyes. So it was a good, small part. Kind of like how William Forsythe played Dutton for one episode.
