Although Warhorse Studios wanted Kingdom Come: Deliverance, its open-world medieval RPG set in Europe, on PC this summer, the studio told WCCF Tech that deliverance would not come in 2016.
"We will announce the official release date later in summer [at] E3 or Gamescom," Warhorse posted on Twitter.
Fans have been clamoring for Kingdom Come: Deliverance since its successful Kickstarter back in 2014. Warhorse knows it, and had hoped to release the PC version this summer, followed by Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions later in 2016.
"We present real historical European sword-fighting," the studio teased on Kingdom Come: Deliverance's gameplay page. "We have been working with experienced swordfighters, who helped us with the animations in our MoCap Studio. Together we have decoded the medieval sword-fighting techniques that can be mastered in-game."
Players will be able to specialize in a wide range of combat styles and armaments.
