Person of Interest: "A More Perfect Union" Review

A bit of an oddball entry for Person of Interest this week, considering the high stakes of the final season. Because while the second episode of the season, "SNAFU," was laced with humor, the story was still solidly about fixing the Machine and our heroes' path toward eventual victory over Samaritan. Here, in "A More Perfect Union," the number of the week (or "event of the week," as all the team got was a location and date, really) was totally separate from the Samaritan arc. And it was played for laughs. So this episode shared a goofiness with "SNAFU," but none of the importance.

Except when it came to Fusco's side of things. A curt "no can do" was all Fusco gave Finch this week as he refused to help Team Machine and instead delved into his side investigation regarding all the people who'd gone missing recently. Including Krupa Naik. So this was the best part of "A More Perfect Union." Fusco getting closer to the "new player in town." So close, in fact, that he wound up getting blown to hell in a tunnel that Samaritan ordered to implode so as to hide all the lives it had snuffed out over the past few months
