The forecast is looking grim for the cast of The Walking Dead. Negan has escaped custody and is now making his way straight towards the Whisperers. If this sadistic villain should join forces with Alpha, the series would pretty much have a perfect storm of villainy. That lingering threat only increases the sense of foreboding in an already tense status quo.
As is pretty much always the case, Negan proves to be the highlight of this issue. He's not someone to let a little thing like murdering his travelling companion get him down or force him to keep quiet. Whether he's chattering away to himself or exchanging pleasantries with those he encounters in his journey, Negan is rapidly making up for all that lost time when he was out of the spotlight. And even then, Robert Kirkman and Charlie Adlard add another compelling villain to the mix in the form of Alpha's right hand man, Beta. Suffice it to say, if The Walking Dead is Game of Thrones, Beta would be The Mountain.
