Citizens of Earth removed from 3DS eShop

Here we go, the latest and greatest from Shacknews...

report from Nintendo Life that a homebrew exploit was found in Citizens of Earth for 3DS, prompting Nintendo to delist it until the hole has been patched up.

"Christened 'Humblehax' due to the game's inclusion in the recent Humble Friends of Nintendo Bundle, this exploit allows you to run unsigned code on your 3DS console but requires an existing entry point, such as browserhax or Cubic Ninja," Nintendo Life explains.

Citizens of Earth is an RPG in which players assume the role of the Vice President of Earth and recruit constituents in Pokémon-style battles. The game was released on multiple platforms last year, but it's come up lately because it was included in the recent Humble Friends of Nintendo bundle, which pulled in more than $1 million in revenue.

Consumers who purchased the bundle can still redeem their code for Citizens of Earth, but the game is otherwise unavailable for sale.
