Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft may soon be allowing multiple Heroes to battle alongside one another in co-op battle.
Blizzard released Hearthstone 3.0 yesterday, and overnight, users have already dissected the update to learn what’s in store for the popular digital collectible-card game. One such feature that has all Hearthstone players abuzz is the prospect of a co-op mode.
Here’s the text of some of the audio files found within Hearthstone’s recent patch:
Added VO_HRW_TEST_00.AUDIOFILE: "test"
Added VO_HRW_TEST_01: "Well done! You've defeated the boss together.\n\nBoth players win!"
Added VO_HRW_TEST_01.AUDIOFILE: "test"
Added VO_HRW_TEST_02: "Defeat Gearmaster Mechazod together to win!"
While these audio files don’t give us an indication of what kind of co-op play we can expect, it certainly looks like we can be expecting some kind of 2-on-2 card game action in Hearthstone’s future. Whether it’ll be with an AI partner or an actual player is still up in the air, but either way, we can expect to be bumping virtual elbows with someone.
