Hannibal: "And the Woman Clothed in Sun" Review

The Memory Palace continues to be a well-established aspect of the show that the Red Dragon storyline is able to use ingeniously. In the book, Dolarhyde and Hannibal do correspond, yes, but it’s impossible for them to come face to face – but here, we get to see Dolarhyde as Hannibal’s imagined patient, and it’s very effective.

And wow is Hannibal pushing all the right buttons – giving Dolarhyde plenty of praise, including saying all the right things about his current body as “trivial” as he transforms, to ensure Dolarhyde remains under his sway (I also loved the line, “I think of them as unfair reviews,” regarding what has been written about Hannibal in the press).
