"SHOOOOOOOOT HIM!"
Yes, that was me. Not just during the final moments of "Plan B," but for about half the episode. For the entire time Barbie was being held captive. Someone put him down. Jim. Julia. Anyone. Wipe him out. And there were a few moments, honestly, when I thought the show was going to make a big move and boot him off the show. And I was down. Let's do this. Kill Barbie and move on.
But then I remembered that this was the show that completely shrank in the face of interesting, game changing moves. Ones that matter, mind you. Not, like, the random killing of Linda and Angie at the top of Season 2. This was the show that recently spent a lot of time faking a global apocalypse and then said "JK LOL" a week later. So while teasing us with something really enticing for thirty minutes, Under the Dome decided to double-down on the absolutely ridiculous Julia and Barbie love story.
