This issue of Secret Wars will likely prove the most divisive so far. On one hand, the series is still bolstered by Jonathan Hickman's and Esad Ribic's sweeping, grandiose approach to storytelling and the compelling portrayal of Doctor Doom. On the other, there's very little sense of plot progression in this latest chapter. Only the last page does anything to push the conflict forward. It's a testament to the creators that this issue works despite that flaw, but this definitely isn't the strongest installment of Secret Wars.
