Now that we know Gotham will return for a fifth and (shortened) final season next year - and that series creator Bruno Heller has a new Alfred Pennyworth series headed to Epic - it's time to look back at the most insane stunts and storylines the show's ever pulled off.
"I don't think there was necessarily one place or one moment where we decided that anything goes," EP/showrunner John Stephens told us. "I think it was really just done by taking one step and then taking another step and so on. And then you turn around and see where you are and how far you've come and you're miles from where you actually began."
