Amazon’s in-house AmazonBasics line of products aim to create affordable, “good enough” products from every category you can think of: speakers, luggage, paper shredders, batteries...seriously, everything. Their Desktop Mini Condenser Microphone (see it on Amazon) is a midrange USB microphone that sells for $42 and is designed to just be a decent mic for video calling, streaming, or even basic podcasting. Its primary competition is the Blue Snowball, which is just $10 more but from a much more respected brand (at least when it comes to audio equipment).
