Warning: Full spoilers for the Mr. Robot Season 4 premiere follow...
Mr. Robot kicked off its final season with two bold moves, the first being the execution of Angela. Which happened right at the top of the episode.
Admittedly, part of this felt very "final season," in the sense that it's not unusual for a show to coldly kill off a core character when it runs out of moves and is looking to shake things up in the last sprint. So, given all that, one should examine the character in peril, in this case Portia Doubleday's Angela, in order to determine whether or not, for the narrative, they would mean more dead than alive.
