Escaping the treacherous world of ARK: Survival Evolved is going to prove a little more difficult than first anticipated. It's not just that the lands are filled with roaming dinosaurs, but there now appears to be some new environments put into place.
Earlier this morning, Studio Wildcard added a pair of new biomes to the growing world of ARK. Swamp introduces a new sticky, waterlogged environment, with new plant life and crafting ingredients available. However, it also has a whole new set of creatures nesting about. So watch out for snakes, gators, bugs, and piranhas. There's also a massive "Beezlebufo" frog, which can be tamed and used to leap over danger.
The Snow biome will require some fur to survive the treacherous temperatures, which will prove worthwhile for this area's precious crafting resources. The Megaloceros "Stags" will charge you upon sight, so be sure to watch out for those. The Snow biome is also home to Dire Wolves, which are like wolves, but dire.
