New Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game being developed by Platinum Games

Here we go, the latest and greatest from Shacknews...

A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game may be currently in development with Platinum Games taking the reins and Activision publishing the title.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutants in Manhattan was rated recently by the Australian Advisory Rating System as an M-rated title expected to release on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Before you decide to throw a party to celebrate an M-rated TMNT game, you should be aware an M-rated game in Australia is the equivalent of a T-rated game in the US, which seems to be more appropriate for a Ninja Turtles game.

The rating mentions online interactivity, which we hope means the new TMNT game will offer online co-op and/or some kind of versus mode.

Considering how good Platinum Games’ recent Transformers: Devestation was, we’re hoping the legendary developer can give the same kind of treatment to the TMNT franchise. Hopefully we hear more about the game sooner rather than later.
