Last week’s Shack’s Arcade Corner got crazy. Some might say a little too crazy as we highlighted Sega’s Crazy Taxi. For this week, we take a slightly less crazy approach to our Arcade Corner by featuring Capcom’s Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo.
Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo smashed its way into arcades in 1998 and offered a unique experience to the classic Street Fighter franchise: a head-to-head puzzle combat game. In this addictive match-3, players would match gems in order to inflict damage to their opponents. It may not sound as exhilarating as Street Fighter, but trust us: it’s an awesome arcade game.
