The Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 (See it on Amazon) was quirky and ahead of its time when it was released a few years ago, as it offers flight control with a mobile app instead of a controller along with augmented reality capability. To make all this work it sports an advanced design that includes an onboard CPU and memory, which is reflected in its semi-high price of $179. When it was released it was, and still is, a revolutionary product, with over half a million units sold. But does it still fly in today’s more competitive drone market?
