Warning: this review contains full spoilers for Swamp Thing's Season 1 finale, "Loose Ends."
It's sadly fitting that this episode is titled "Loose Ends." Originally, this episode was intended to be the tenth installment of a 13-episode season. But after DC abruptly suspended production and canceled Swamp Thing, "Loose Ends" suddenly found itself transformed into a series finale. It fills that role about as well as could be hoped given the circumstances. Still, it's a real shame to see the series wrapping up just as it was getting into the true root of what makes this franchise so fascinating.
