Persona 4: Dancing All Night has me tethered to my Vita. If I’m not perfecting my rhythmic performance on a song, I’m in the music player listening to my personalized playlist of memorable Persona music. The surprisingly long and engaging story mode, combined with the customizable Free Dance mode, make it an addicting journey of sound and stardom.
Set only a few months after Persona 4, Dancing All Night reunites the Investigation Team and tosses them into yet another interesting supernatural mystery involving missing idols and a haunted website. This time, instead of fighting the enemy shadows with their powers in the TV, they have to impress the shadows with dance in a new world. That concept seemed a little silly at first, but the 12.5-hour story mode is immensely enjoyable, especially with its references to previous games.
