Dreams gameplay video shows the potential of imagination

Here we go, the latest and greatest from Shacknews...

Media Molecule continues its quest to tackle all things adorable, as well as unconventional, by offering a live demo of its upcoming creation game, Dreams. Shown off during the Paris Games Week event from PlayStation, Dreams reveals some incredibly strange imagery.

For this demo, the player controlled a teddy bear-like character, wandering around a twisted dream world. Off-the-wall Wonderland-esque ideas helped the player move forward, as they encounter strange characters, like a gigantic, ill-proportioned mouse. While this illustrated the adventure game potential, Dreams is a game without boundaries, which is meant to allow the player to create worlds from their imagination. That's a good reason why the demo ended with dancing pieces of cake.

Dreams is set to go into beta in 2016. For more, check out the video below.
