EA has announced Mirror’s Edge Catalyst has been delayed to May 24, 2016.
The next title in the Mirror’s Edge series was originally expected to release in February 2016, although today’s announcement means we’ll have to wait until three additional months for Catalyst to arrive.
According to an update on the Mirror’s Edge website, the extra time will be used to help make the City of Glass feel more expansive, entertaining, impressive, and memorable. EA DICE is aiming for Mirror’s Edge Catalyst to feature stunning vistas, majestic skyscrapers, and mysterious tunnels to explore, all of which can be discovered using the fluid movement style we’ve come to love from the original title.
