Watch AMD at Computex 2016 here

Here we go, the latest and greatest from Shacknews...

Computex, the annual computer expo that emanates from Taipei, Taiwan, begins tonight, May 31, at 10p Eastern / 7p Pacific. According to AMD's Twitter account, you can catch the livestream from the conference on the manufacturer's website, which will update with a live feed once the broadcast begins.

Wall Street Journal published an extensive report on what consumers and analysts should expect from AMD's show tonight. Front and center, graphics chips based on its Polaris technology should begin arriving in June. With Polaris, AMD hopes to lower the cost-of-entry point for VR-ready PCs by a significant margin, from a minimum of around $1,000 to roughly $700.

AMD's Radeon RX cards will attempt to deliver high performance for use with VR gear, and have been certified by HTC and Oculus for use with Vive and Rift, respectively.

Check back here for the livestream beginning tonight at 10p Eastern / 7p Pacific.
