Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.
So long, Sid, we hardly knew you! Seriously, we barely knew Sid at all, but the fact that he blurted out the most traumatic events of his life was a pretty big giveaway that his time on this show was up. The previous episodes didn’t fully develop Sid into someone that the audience will miss, and this week’s episode tried to make up for lost time before giving Sid a heroic death that just didn’t resonate very strongly. He was the first of the Ogygia three to die, but probably not the last one. In the story of Michael and Lincoln, Ja, Whip, and Sid, are simply expendable; and that’s why they probably won’t survive the series. If the Prison Break writers really want to shock the audience, someone more important than Kellerman needs to die. That means only an original cast member’s demise will have the necessary impact.
