Nintendo’s first mobile app, Miitomo, will be launching on March 31 on both the App Store and Google Play.
The free-to-play app will allow users to create a Mii character which can be customized. Users will be able to customize their Mii’s facial features, voice, and personality. For those who have trouble customizing their Mii themselves, they can use their device’s camera to create their character based on their image. Mii’s can also be imported from their Wi U or Nintendo 3DS systems using a QR Code.
Once users are done creating their Mii, they can add friends in person, or by linking with their existing Facebook and Twitter accounts. Users will then be able to answer questions created by Miitomo, which will prompt users to answer them, which will hopefully turn into discussions.
Those interested in Miitomo can pre-register at the following link prior to the app’s launch on March 31, which will send the user an email once the app is ready to download.
