One episode out from the Season 6 finale and The Walking Dead fumbles and flails with an episode that saw not one, but - like - six of our heroes leave Alexandria on the precipice of open war with the Saviors. The Saviors, who all now know where Alexandria actually is and are raging for revenge.
The only person of the bunch who I was willing to let pass through those gates was Carol. She basically did it at the end of the last episode and so her self-exile was already a done deal. It felt odd, but out of everyone who abandoned their posts this week, all the skilled fighters necessary for that community's protection, she was the one going through a crisis of conscience. And wanted to leave for fear that she might have to morbidly murder a dozen people again.
