Ah, the Illuminati get such a bad rap. Someone is always hunting them. Just because they have money, power and pull all the strings doesn't make them bad. They just want to be understood. Well, augmented human Adam Jensen doesn't care. He wants them all dead.
As the hype continues to build for Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, Square Enix and Eidos Montreal have released a new trailer showing off 6+ minutes of gameplay and back story for Jensen's latest foray into a world divided into augs and aug-nots. Jensen is part of Interpol's special anti-terrorist unit, but he'll find time to still carry out his own agenda. He narrates the video as he reveals some of his new abilities, hangouts and don't-give-a-shit attitude toward the Illuminati.
Of course, Jensen is probably already a little miffed that his mission has been delayed until August 23 and the pre-order program was so poorly received, but Square Enix is trying to placate him and fans with the announcement of two special editions for the game. The Day One Edition will cost $59.99 and add an extra in-game mission and cosmetic items, as well as a soundtrack, digital art and comic books. Big spenders can drop $139.99 for the Collector's Edition and get all of the Day One content, a 9-inch Adam Jensen figure and 48-page art book in a special case. Both the CE and the $89.99 Digital Deluxe Edition will include a Season Pass for all future DLC. The Season Pass will be available separately once the game is released.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
