It appears we haven’t heard the last of the Blood Dragon as Ubisoft has filed a trademark for something called “Trials of the Blood Dragon”, which we think it’s safe to say it’ll be a mash-up of the publisher’s iconic Trials series along with the craziness that was Fary Cry 3’s Blood Dragon spin-off.
The trademark was discovered on the Taiwan Game Software Rating Regulations Board along with its logo:
As of now, it’s unclear whether or not Trials of the Blood Dragon will be a standalone game or an additional expansion for Trials Fusion. Considering Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon was a standalone product, we wouldn’t be surprised if that was also the case for Trials of the Blood Dragon.
Considering how close we are to E3 2016, we have a feeling Ubisoft will make any formal announcement regarding Trials of the Blood Dragon during the show in June.
