Agents of SHIELD: "Identity and Change" Review

Full spoilers for Marvel's Agents of SHIELD continue below.

It seems safe to say Mallory Jansen is the MVP of Agents of SHIELD: Season 4, no? She was excellent as Aida, brought new depth to the character as Agnes, but in "Identity and Change" she freaking slayed it as Ophelia, aka Madame Hydra.

There were a lot of great moments in this week's episode, but Ophelia's real talk with Radcliffe was the climax of her entire story arc this season. Without her programming restraining her, this version of Aida who is free inside the Framework could talk to her maker about just how trapped she felt within her robotic body. Jansen chewed up her screentime as she let that anger and resentment flow freely.
