Mechanical keyboards have fallen back into fashion after years on the sidelines. But in an age where a lot of people use laptop keyboards during the day and their PC at night, many would-be mechanical converts find themselves frustrated with the bulky size and long key travel of modern mechanical keyboards. The $170 Corsair K70 MK.2 Low Profile (See it on Corsair's site) aims to please both crowds with a mechanical keyboard based on its K70 MK.2 but with new low profile MX switches from Cherry. It's the first keyboard of it's kind, as far as I know, so I was eager to test it out.
