Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Founder's Edition Review

Nvidia's new RTX 2080 and RTX 2080 Ti Turing GPUs have understandably dominated the conversation in recent months, but while flagship cards and their impressive specs are awesome, they’re also prohibitively expensive for most people. Luckily, Nvidia had a more budget-friendly Turing option waiting in the wings in the form of the RTX 2070. It will be available in both Founder's Edition trim, which is what I have for this review, and from Nvidia's partners (EVGA, Asus, etc). Though the Founder's Edition is priced at $600, Nvidia says the partner cards should start at $500. This GPU won’t offer the frame rates of its pricier siblings, particularly when it comes to 4K gaming, but it’s still compatible with upcoming tech like real-time ray tracing. I spent some time with the smallest card in Nvidia’s RTX series, and I’m happy to report it’s definitely worth your attention.
