2K and Gearbox Software have announced the open beta for Battleborn will commence on April 8 at 10am PT on PlayStation 4, and then open up to Xbox One and PC players on April 13th at 10am PT. The open beta will end on April 18th at 7am PT across all platforms.
The open beta for Battleborn will include access to two story episodes: Void’s Edge and The Algorithm. Two of the three competitive multiplayer modes will be available to play, all 25 playable Heroes, loot, gear, and players can experience Battleborn’s full progression systems.
The open beta will support solo or co-op play with up to five players and split-screen play on both Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
Pre-loading will become available across all platforms starting on April 6th. Console players can begin to pre-load at 5pm PT, while PC players get a headstart with a 10am pre-load start time.
