The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess HD makes lots of changes, big and small, to the 2006 classic. This guide will explain what has been changed for the remake.
Major Changes and Additions
- Features new Cave of Shadows endurance dungeon, similar to the Cave of Ordeals

- Adds various Amiibo functionality for Link, Toon Link, Wolf Link, Princess Zelda, Sheik, and Ganondorf

- Hero Mode is available from the start of the game
- Features new Miiverse stamps
- A new Ghost Lantern item assists in finding Poes for the
Smaller Tweaks and Balance
- Areas only have 12 Tears of Light instead of 16
- Wallet sizes have been changed: 500 (Default), Big (1,000), and Giant (2,000)
- Link has three equippable Item slots
- Gyroscope is used for aiming weapons like Bow and Gale Boomerang
- Wii U GamePad provides streamlined equipment and map interface
- Link is left-handed (as in GameCube version) rather than right-handed (as in Wii version)
- Supports off-screen play on GamePad by pressing (-) button
