Twin Peaks: "Part 15" Review

The latest game news from IGN - one of my fave channels ever - check it out

This week's Twin Peaks, as we close in now on the final few episodes, hit us with some more Fire Walk with Me excellence, a handful of sublime weirdness, a moment that looked like a true (and shocking) turning point for Dougie/Coop, and a heavy emotional farewell to Margaret the Log Lady - as well as actress Catherine E. Coulson, who filmed these revival scenes while she was actually dying back in 2015. Coulson lost her battle with cancer shortly after she finished.

For what was basically a simple phone scene (like most of Margaret's moments this year), both Coulson and Michael Horse were excellent, bringing stoic weight to Margaret's kindness and fear. She was passing. She was changing, and she wasn't too proud to admit that she held fear about "letting go." The moment wasn't about story so much as it was just a profound moment of sadness and grace - though Margaret still managed to slip in an item or two about the moon and Blue Pine Mountain.
