Warning: Full spoilers for the episode follow.
Sarada’s arc may have ended last week, but this week’s Boruto feels like a bonus episode, giving us one more story featuring the Uchiha child (and her forgotten friend, Boruto). Their squabble doesn’t provide the same excitement of the past episodes, but it does offer an entertaining backdrop to an otherwise story-heavy episode.
“Boruto and Sarada” opens with Boruto and his classmates discussing the upcoming Kage Summit, which will be taking place in Konoha. Boruto expresses his disinterest, and exchanges some barbs with Sarada upon learning she plans to become Hokage herself. Following the end of Sarada’s arc, it’s nice to get one last look at her new ambitions as well as a deeper look at her and Boruto’s relationship, which already has flashes of Naruto and Sasuke albeit with a twist.
