Warning: Full spoilers for the episode below.
Going into The Strain's series finale, the question was less whether the Master would be defeated and more if every surviving character would be given the finish they deserved. Would the Dutch/Fet relationship end on a high note? Would Gus fully redeem himself after waiting so long to rejoin the fight? Would Roman be treated like more than a disposable Red Shirt (as have most of the new characters introduced this season?). And perhaps most importantly, would both Eph and his son earn the fates they deserve?
Happily, the answer to all of these questions turned out to be "Yes." While "The Last Stand" didn't always have the scope and sense of finality it needed, ultimately it gave the series and its main cast the sendoff they deserved.
