The folks at Turner have been very serious about its plunge into the eSports world. Now it's ready to begin its first season of Counter-Strike: Global Offensive competition, which will unfold on a weekly basis on both digital and television airwaves.
The first ELeague season is set to begin on Tuesday, May 24 with a six-week regular season, a bye week, a one-week last change qualifier round, and two weeks of playoffs. The Semifinals are scheduled for Friday, July 29, while the Global Championship best of three will be held on Saturday, July 30 with a special 4PM ET starting time. The entirety of the competition will run from Turner Studios in Atlanta, GA.
Group Play will mostly be held on digital channels, but there will be a three-hour late nite block every Friday night that will air on TBS. Here's how the ELeague schedule shapes up, courtesy of the ELeague website (All times ET):

Teams set to compete have not yet been revealed, but it looks to be an exciting first regular season from ELeague. It'll remain to be seen how Turner lays out the television presentation and whether it'll flow as well as digital broadcasts, but we'll all find out together when the first TBS broadcast airs on May 27.
