Last week, the alleged controller for the Nintendo NX had been leaked during the Game Developers Conference 2016. Today, we’re seeing a new set of images of what is believed to be the Nintendo NX controller, which look very similar to the original leak.
Just like with last week’s leak, the believed Nintendo NX controller seems to have a minimalistic approach as two analog sticks on both sides and a 3.5mm headphone jack located towards its bottom.
According to the original leaker on Reddit, the top of the controller features two rollers that look and feel identical to a mouse scroll-wheel, although they don’t believe this to be the final design. The controller has haptic feedback similar to Apple’s “taptic” engine, which would offer a more subtle rumble than previous controllers.
If this is indeed the Nintendo NX controller, then you should probably know dev unit controllers prior to launch could change. Considering what we've reported in the past in regards to the console and controller, we can't imaging there being many iterations beyond what we see here.
