Now that the servers for The Division are back up, Agents should expect patch 1.0.2 to be available across all platforms. The update includes a number of changes to the game, but one change that’s hitting most high-level Agents particularly hard is Ubisoft’s decision to no longer allow named NPCs to respawn after being killed in the Open World. This means the loot king of New York City, Bullet King, can no longer be farmed after he’s killed in the Open World.
One fan of The Division took it upon himself to create a real-world memorial for Bullet King by visiting his in-game spawn point in New York City. Reddit user Starfire013 went to the corner of W49th St and Broadway outside Autumn’s Hope safehouse and propped a backpack up to a pole with a message attached to it.

The memorial reads “Spires of light, Purple and Gold; Twice every minute, it never got old.”
Ubisoft also decided to hold its own memorial for Bullet King on Twitter, giving fans a clear indication it knew what it was doing by no longer allowing named NPCs to spawn in the Open World.
While maintenance is ongoing, we want to take a moment to say farewell to the Bullet King. http://pic.twitter.com/gsIcixEDjE

Thanks for all of the loot, Bullet King. We hope wherever you are, you're haphazardly making it rain Superior and High-End gear.
