Fear the Walking Dead: "Ouroboros" Review

The latest game news from IGN - one of my fave channels ever - check it out

I consider "Ouroboros" to be a nice improvement over the first two episodes of Season 2. Not a huge leap in quality, but enough that it's noticeable. There were still a few groan-worthy moments here and there, like Chris wandering off on his own and Nick's losing his footing and falling down that beach embankment, but overall things clicked a lot better.

Plus, Chris walking off on his own only managed to put himself in danger (while also teaching him a Liza-relevant lesson about mercy killing) and Nick tumbling down that hill managed to get him covered up in blood and guts (off-screen, yes, but it was still a cool moment when he saved Alicia). The whole "guts" thing also nicely played off Nick's overall fearlessness (the trait Strand admires most in him) since he was willing to get up super-close to a walker - or "infected" as the FTWD characters are calling them - and realize that he had become invisible to them.
