Following an intense premiere, Attack on Titan Season 3 is back with another rollercoaster of an episode. From chasing, to scheming, to questioning, to torture, this episode has all the juicy melodrama I could ever hope for. This is a fantastic episode, and I mean that in all senses of the word. It’s certainly not perfect, but the fluidity and the action is impeccable, and satisfying in a way that so much of the series hasn’t been so far. It’s nice to see the series hop right back into the drama and not waste time doing so, but also developing its cast more and more at the same time. Yes, these characters are being put through the wringer once again, but this time it’s against a much more tangible threat.
