What better day than July 4th to launch a new Captain America comic? Like most Marvel heroes, Steve Rogers is getting a big overhaul as part of Marvel's Fresh Start relaunch. The difference here being that the latest volume of Captain America is as much about looking back to recent events as it is charting a new course for the character. Where Mark Waid and Chris Samnee's brief Cap run was all about giving readers a clean break from the events of Secret Empire, Ta-Nehisi Coates and Leinil Yu's series is very much about the fallout of that crossover and the lasting damage it's done to Cap's heroic reputation. if that doesn't sound appealing, this may not be the comic for you.
