New Xbox One experience releasing next week for all users

Here we go, the latest and greatest from Shacknews...

Microsoft has announced it will be launching its new Xbox One experience on November 12.

The company first revealed its new Xbox One experience during E3 2015 where we learned the console would have a redesigned Home, a new guide, the addition of Cortana, and more. The update was made available for all Xbox One Preview members this past September, and it appears the new experience is now ready to be rolled out to everyone else.

When the new Xbox One experience launches next week, its Home screen will allow users to scroll vertically. Scrolling down will showcase a user’s most recent apps, with each tile having some contextual items that allow you to easily see a number of things, such as messages from developers, who is currently playing, and sharing your latest game clips and screenshots.

Pins have also been moved and are now located below your most recent apps list. In order to access them quickly, users will need to enter the Home screen and pull on the Right Trigger to jump straight to your Pins.

Here’s a video providing a quick overview of what you can expect from the Home screen with more videos expected to be released in the coming days.
