Naughty Dog Accused Of Lifting Assets From Assassin's Creed In Latest Uncharted Trailer

Here we go, the latest and greatest from Shacknews...

It seems the folks at Naughty Dog are fans of Assassin's Creed, if the accusation that the company used stolen artwork in the latest Uncharted 4: A Thief's End trailer is any indication.

The latest trailer, which we posted earlier, appers to show a piece of concept art from Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag, according to a tweet by the franchise's head of content, AAzaïzia Aymar. You can find the artwork on a painting that's hanging on Nathan Drake's wall in the trailer. You can't see the pirate in the painting in the trailer as it's been cleverly cropped out, but it certainly does look like the same painting.

Naughty Dog has yet to respond to the allegations, but the image is obviously the same. Could this be a tongue-in-cheek reference to the "thief" subtitle? Is it on purpose? The jury's still out on what's going on, but as we uncover more facts we'll be sure to bring them to you.
